• Harvest from the soy fields.
• Applications for legal documentation for Duma 1 and Duma 2 are signed by the Gouverneur in Inongo, all according to the legal procedure of “Foresterie Communautaire” in the DRC. The villagers in Duma 1 and Duma 2 now have legal documentation of their land thanks to the help and efforts made by United Eco Solutions.
• Land is prepared in the five villages Duma 1, Duma 2, Bomanga, Boliano, and Bokungo for the coming agroforestry activities.
• The work continues with the plant nurseries in the five villages.
• Measuring trees in the existing rainforest to determine the potential for carbon sequestration.
• Gathering of seeds for wenge trees. Plantation of wenge seeds in plant nurseries.
