The cartography process to establish the boundaries of the land for each village started. We work with the method Participative mapping, meaning that maps are created together with the local villagers and thereafter outlined with GPS-points to create normal maps. This is important because it’s a first step to help the population get legal documentation of their land. At the end of April, the team in the DRC went to Inongo, the capital of the Mai-Ndombe Province, to hand in the documents necessary for getting the legal documentation of their land.
